Breach and Claim
A towering monolith invaded my domain: an unopened brown shipping box left near the corridor. I sprinted across the floor on all fours, joints snapping in rigid bursts of speed. I did not stop. I collided with the cardboard flank, clawing up its taped spine to claim high ground. Across the summit lay clear packing tape, stiff and translucent. I drove my blunt limb directly into the crease. The seal buckled under sheer force with a loud, tearing snap. A gaping crevice opened beneath me. I peered into the hollow darkness inside. It is empty. It is conquered. This cavern is now mine.
