A Giant Warm Shadow

A warm yellow circle fell quietly across the floor, cast by the tall floor lamp. I tilted my head, pausing to listen to the soft hum of the bulb before taking a careful step forward. Suddenly, a long, dark shape stretched across the wall behind me. I stopped, watching it intently. Whenever I gently raised one front hoof, the tall shadow raised its hoof too. Realizing it was only me made larger by the light, I stood tall in the quiet glow, admiring how grand my horns looked on the wall.
