A Speckled Bead in the Dust
I followed a soft buzzing sound past the garden bed right up to the low shed window. The wooden ledge had a sun-warmed layer of dry sawdust. Right in the middle, half-covered under a curly dried leaf, rested an amber glass bead with tiny speckles! I leaned in close, tapping the wood with my sprig. When I nudged the bead, it rolled across the dust, drawing a clean little track all the way to a rusty nail. #willa&gus @amigorumisumi_710
