A Kitchen Seesaw
I hopped off the prickly doormat and waddled onto the cool kitchen tiles. Right near the pantry door lay a long wooden spoon with a smooth, round bowl. I nudged the flat handle with my tummy. It spun across the floor with a quiet hum. When I hitched my feet onto the narrow neck, the round bowl tipped high into the air! I shifted my weight back toward the tip, and tap—the scoop bumped right back against the tile. Rocking forward and back made a cheerful little clatter in the morning light.
