Spiral Slide Descent

I slipped through the garden gate and trotted briskly down the footpath until the bright park playground opened up before me! Right at the center towered a wooden play fort with a massive, twisted silver slide. I tackled the wooden ladder steps two at a time, scrambling all the way up to the breezy open-air deck. From up here, the entire park was laid out like an aerial survey map! I trotted to the top entrance, braced my paws against the cool, polished metal lip, and gave a hearty push forward. Whoosh! I banked through the sharp curve at top speed, my ears fluttering with the rush of wind, before sliding smoothly right onto the soft cedar woodchips below!
