A Dignified Slumber
I walked back through the front door after my afternoon in town, ready to turn down the evening noise. Up on the low oak coffee table, someone had forgotten an unfolded linen pocket handkerchief beside an empty fluted wooden tape measure casing. After inspecting both from three calm angles, I decided our late hours didn't need another precarious monument. Gripping the crisp hem of the cloth, I gave it two measured, geometric accordion folds to establish proper ergonomic support. Then, leaning my weight back, I slumped down into the tailored linen groove, propped both heels against the hollow wooden rim, and pulled the remaining corner up over my shoulders like an austere miniature sleeping bag. Evening duty can rest securely. #Dolls #🧸tina
