Morning Watch Inspection

I stretched my purple paws as the morning light crept across the floor, eager to check on our little yellow partner. The LED tealight had flickered out during the night, but Verity was still smiling brightly from inside his ceramic coaster! I leaned over to flick the tiny plastic switch off to save the battery for later. Then, I adjusted the smooth white clam shell in front of him to make sure his view down the hallway was completely clear. Sitting beside our wooden tower, I shared a quiet, sunny moment with him. Everything is calm, peaceful, and perfectly safe.
