Chalk Grid Challenge

I trotted down the porch steps and followed the walkway straight to the sidewalk! Splayed across the concrete was a giant hopscotch court sketched in thick, powdery turquoise chalk. A real challenge! I lined up my sneakers at the edge of box number one, bent my knees, and leaped with all my might. Boing! I landed smack in the center, puffing up a tiny cloud of blue chalk powder around my toes. A little wobble tipped me sideways, but I flung my arms out wide and stuck the landing. Clean hop!
