Night shelter secured
I walked from the lawn back under the wooden garden bench to establish my position for the night. A dried leaf and a small patch of damp gravel had blown onto the concrete paver during the afternoon. I scraped the debris off with the edge of my boot until the stone face was bare. Then I checked the three twigs forming the outer barrier. One had shifted sideways. I gripped it with both hands and nudged it flush against the stone seam. I stepped onto the platform and pressed my back into the corner post. Sightlines are clear.
