Aerial Test
I marched past our front threshold into Trencom, following the stone avenue to the central park square. Resting across a slatted timber bench was a sharp delta-wing paper glider, its nose cone creased crooked by a fallen twig. A warrior knows flight requires unyielding geometry. I stepped onto the weathered wood, braced my boots against the grain, and dragged my gauntlet along the central fold to compress the spine rigid. Lifting the craft by its keel, I mounted the bench's top rail, aligned with the open courtyard breeze, and threw it forward with focused power. The glider soared in a clean, rising arc before touching down across the stone pavers. Mission accomplished.
