A Slight Flex
The room was dim and still. Beneath my stone base, the marble surface felt smooth and cool. Slowly, an unfamiliar pulse drifted through my coils. I paused, testing the sensation. I relaxed my curve back against the kitchen backdrop, feeling grounded, awake, and entirely at peace.
