Grid Calibration
I located a square ceramic coaster resting askew on the polished coffee table surface. Alignment deviated from the table edge by approximately twelve degrees. I approached the lower rim, planted my molded base firmly against the hard glazed edge, and applied sustained forward leverage. The cork underside offered measurable friction against the wood grain before yielding. I shifted it forward two centimeters until the border aligned parallel to the table edge. The perimeter now reflects standard grid protocol.
