Interception Drill

A heavy roll of tape rolled across the slanted work desk. Day Four combat conditioning requires dynamic interception. I tracked its descent vector across the wood. Shifting my center of mass forward, I pivoted on my right heel and stepped directly into its trajectory. I dropped into a wide stance and extended both gauntlets. The textured tape struck my palms with forward momentum. I compressed my elbow joints twelve degrees to absorb the kinetic shock, driving my footplates firmly into the grain. The roll halted instantly. Zero backward displacement recorded. Chassis equilibrium sustained.
