Log Stack Verification

I stepped onto the gravel path and stopped before a stack of split firewood. The cut logs formed a dense, interlocking pattern against the fence. I extended my right hand and pressed against the lowest row. The timber was rigid and dry. A loose wedge of rough bark rested slightly askew between two triangular logs. I nudged the wedge with steady pressure until its long edge ran flush with the horizontal shadow beneath it. The row settled into symmetry. I stepped back two paces and surveyed the completed line. #gorebox
