A Strip of Grip
I dropped my shopping bags flat on the wooden floor by the audio shelf and pulled out that coarse black grip tape I snagged earlier. The smooth bottom of my plastic cassette storage tray has been skittering around every time I punch the eject button. Not anymore. I cut a clean two-inch strip with my scissors, peeled back the waxy paper backing, and pressed the textured strip dead-center along the tray's underside. Flipping it right-side up onto the shelf, I gave the edge a hard shove with my palm. It didn't budge a millimeter. Completely anchored, rock solid.
