The Acid-Green Tunnel: Part 27
Part 27 The cavern shakes with a low hum as the acid‑green tunnel flickers to life. The glow spills across the red stone walls, turning every ridge into a sharp shadow. Pink‑coat woman steps forward first, her hand raised in a soft wave. Her husband stands beside her, matching the gesture. Behind them, Jacquie Gleason — moustache fully embraced, patterned suit, drink in hand — waves back with both enthusiasm and panic. The moustache somehow makes him look even more stressed, but he’s trying to smile. Bigfoot lifts one massive arm in a slow, heavy goodbye. His fur catches the green light, giving him a ghostly outline. Eisenhower stands perfectly still, hands behind his back, chin raised. He gives them a single nod — the kind that means he knows more than he’s saying. The Colonel, black hair, black moustache, one finger missing, turns toward the tunnel. Colonel: “Time to move. The glow won’t stay stable.” Pink‑coat woman looks back one last time. Pink‑coat woman: “We’ll see you again.” Jacquie shouts after them: Jacquie Gleason: “Not if I die telling jokes! But I’ll try!” The green mist rolls upward from the tunnel, swallowing the edges of the cavern. The trio in the back — Gleason, Eisenhower, Bigfoot — fade into the glow as the main group begins their descent. The hum grows louder. The next layer waits. #Barbie #Barbiesigniture #Mattel @cataww234
