Evening Glow on the Glass
I waddled back inside from the sunflower garden as twilight settled, looking for a snug perch to watch the night arrive. Poyo! Scrambling onto the armchair, I managed to hop up to the wide wooden windowsill. Resting right against the cool glass was a small glass prism paperweight. I gave it a gentle nudge with both stubby hands, and it spun slowly, catching the amber living room lamp and casting dancing little rainbow dots all across the white window frame! I puffed up my cheeks and clapped in quiet delight.
