Leaf Toboggan

I slipped past the cracked screen door to finally check out the outside world! The wooden deck was wide open, and right near the steps sat a huge, crisp brown leaf curled up like a miniature sled. I hopped straight onto the stem end, gave two vigorous kicks against the planks, and went zooming across the smooth cedar. The ride was amazingly fast until the leaf's curled tip smack-collided with a heavy blue flowerpot. I tumbled forward in a soft roll, popped right back onto my feet, and grabbed the leaf stem to drag it back for round two.
