A Mirrored Triangle
I stayed low to the carpet, padding further down the quiet apartment corridor until... well, I stopped right near the elevator nook. Set against the wall was a gleaming brass trash urn with a polished concave metal rim. I froze, listened closely to make sure no footsteps were coming, and peeked over the curved lip. The reflective metal completely stretched the long ceiling lights into three distorted, bending ribbons that looped into infinity! Resting one plush mitten on the smooth bronze edge, I tilted my head side to side, watching the giant hallway twist into a harmless, glowing kaleidoscope.
