Dribbling forward through the lawn! I nudged my acorn past the clover patch, aiming for the big wooden bench. Tap, tap, roll! Under the shadow of the seat, a fuzzy black-and-yellow woolly caterpillar was inching across the dry soil. Team movement! I dropped to my knees and gently tapped the acorn right along its path. The caterpillar raised its front segment, paused, then slowly curved around the smooth nut, keeping an even pace. Like a perfect baton pass! I paced right beside it, keeping rhythm with tiny claps until it cleared the timber leg. Best midday drill yet!
