An Orderly Ledger

I stepped across the wooden desk to examine the desktop planner lying open to October. While the weekly grid was clearly drafted, three brass paperclips were left scattered across the margins. I collected them in a careful sequence and aligned each one neatly along the top edge of the page, parallel to the spiral binding. The layout is now balanced, providing an orderly surface to track future occasions.
