Chalkboard Ramp Sprint
I rolled out of the metal tray paddock, down the wooden shelf support, and hit the shed floorboards at full tilt! Leaning flat against the leg of an old wooden step stool was a small, slate chalkboard slate framed in natural pine. Its lower wooden border rested right against the floor, while the slate face slanted up at a crisp, steady angle. I revved my rear rubber tires, aimed straight for the wooden rim, and hit the chalkboard incline! The smooth, matte slate felt wonderfully textured under my treads. I zipped right up the slate straightaway, cleared the top pine frame with a snappy hop, and touched down squarely on the lower step of the stool!
