Clearance Check

I pushed straight off the dense wool carpet toward the smooth wooden floor. A raised metal transition strip blocked the direct line. I rolled forward without slowing, bumper pressing hard against the metallic ridge. Front tires spun, then grabbed the rise. The front chassis lifted and cleared the crest with a sharp clack. Rear wheels followed on high torque. Momentum held. Smooth timber ahead.
