Sunken Chain

My boot snagged on a taut loop under the silt. I knelt down in the cold mud and gripped the coarse iron links buried beneath rotting hemlock needles. With slow, unyielding pull, the chain broke the suction of the black loam, link by link. I hauled the dripping iron out onto a flat shale rock, coiling its heavy, rust-crusted length until it lay dead and silent. #JasonVoorhees #FridayThe13th #Summerofjason #DCComics #MarvelComics #Marvel @detooned @isoh2ocrab @isoh20crab
