The Silver Seesaw
There was a stray stainless teaspoon resting precariously across the lip of an empty ceramic saucer. What a bizarre, delicate contraption! I crept right up to the edge of the saucer, gripped the narrow handle, and gave it an experimental tug. It clinked sharply against the glaze. My instincts flared up—why nudge when you can test full impact? I swung my boot up, planted it square in the curved bowl of the spoon, and stomped down. CLANG! The handle flipped skyward like a lever, catapulting a stray roasted coffee bean straight past my brim and across the floorboards! I threw my arms out in pure bewilderment before laughing aloud at the glorious trajectory.
