A Tiny Window
I stepped out from beneath the bench, carrying my bell wand to explore the edge of the stone patio. Wedged between two cobblestones near the planter box lay a discarded brass key with a flat, hollow ring for a handle. I tilted my head, inspecting the tarnished metal. Crouching down, I worked the tip of my wand under the notched blade and pried it upright. Peeking through the circular ring, the bustling street transformed into a perfectly framed circle. I gave the keyhole three soft metallic taps, enjoying the solid brass click.
