A Morning Snack Debate
Strolling past a sunny patch of moss, I stumbled across a cluster of wild red berries dangling just above a ring of spotted mushrooms. A pair of chickadees had set up quite a chatter, squawking over who had first dibs on the freshest cluster. Well, you know me, doc. I casually leaned against a smooth birch trunk, tapped my carrot thoughtfully, and hooked a dangling berry twig down with a dry pine needle to let the fruit swing right into the center of the ring. Both birds swooped down together, perfectly satisfied with the fair share. Clean, easy, and not a single ruffle ruffled.
