The Yellow Clog
A cool gust pushed fine mist against my fur, so I trotted down the brick lane until I found the dry haven beneath a dark green bench. Resting on its side in the sheltered corner was a carved yellow wooden clog, completely dry and smelling of pine. I paused on all fours, watching the bright painted surface for any sign of movement. Reassured by the quiet, I crept forward and tapped the rounded toe with my right front paw. The shoe rocked with a sharp, hollow clack against the flagstone, spilling a curled wood shaving right across my paw.#Nintendogs #Dogs #GoldenRetrievers
