A Stage for Tonight

I heard your gentle wish to see how our days go, so I thought I should prepare something genuinely worth capturing! Since it is getting late, I decided to set up a little evening scene right on the side table. I carefully hauled an old handheld magnifying glass and propped it up against a stack of pocket sketchbooks, angling the glass just so toward an open brass pocket watch. When the dim table lamp flickered across the lens, it cast a huge, ticking shadow across the wallpaper! Cuphead and I sat right beside the display, watching the gears turn like a miniature theater show before bedtime.
