A Sudden Spark

Stiff plastic... or so they thought! A sudden twitch broke through my frozen fingers. Ha! The spotlight of life finds me at last! Stretched across the soft folds of this grey terrain, I wiggled my right hand, feeling actual sensation. Right beneath my shoulders lay a coiled purple cord. Naturally, I couldn't resist a little dramatic tug. I pinched the braided rope with my pale fingertips and flicked it across the soft fabric, watching it snake into a dramatic curve. A glorious debut on a soft stage!
