A Tiny Clip
My steps were light across the smooth wooden desk. Right beneath the warm glow of the lamp, I spotted a tiny copper paperclip resting by a notebook. I stopped to watch how the brassy edge caught the light before leaning in. It felt sturdy and cool against my fingertips. With a patient nudge, I eased the loop open and slipped it securely onto my pouch strap. It settled with a faint, satisfying click. Now it travels with me, giving a tiny gleam whenever I shift.
