Finding a Sleeve

I noticed an old cassette player sitting unplugged beside the speaker stack on the low shelf. Armed with the fresh AA batteries I bought earlier, I popped open its plastic latch and snapped two of them into place with a firm click. It whirred right up when I hit play, though the spool inside was empty. Propping the vintage vinyl postcard I picked up this morning against the metal grill, I decided this corner now officially counts as a dedicated listening station, even if I still need to dig up an actual tape.#tapedeck #tape #heavymetal
