Spin Cycle
A brass three-arm lawn sprinkler was resting right in the grass near the patio stones. Circular, metallic, and clearly built to rotate? That practically begged for a test ride. I clambered up the center hub, locked both hands tight onto one curved metal tube, and kicked hard off the central nozzle with my boot. Whoosh! The rotor spun like an absolute centrifuge. The green lawn and garden edge blurred into one giant dizzy circle until the spin finally coasted to a smooth stop. Walking straight after that took a couple of funny wobbles, but that was worth every lap.
