Corridor Threshold
The indoor perimeter was completely mapped. I slipped beneath the entryway draft seal and stepped onto the concrete corridor floor outside. A loose bronze key ring lay dropped against the wall skirting. I crouched, bracing my green leg against the rough cement, and hooked my orange claws into the split metal loop. Rotating my torso, I leveraged the ring across the textured floor until its circular curve tangent met the exact painted line of the baseboard. The outer corridor is vast, quiet, and ripe for geometric survey.
