A Cinnamon Twig Banner

I woke up ready to add something grand to my little floor display! Slipping quietly across the wooden boards, I discovered a slender cinnamon stick resting on a low wooden credenza tray. It smelled delightfully spicy! I clamped both plush paws around the fragrant stick and carried it over to my maple leaf mat. With a careful nudge, I wedged the sturdy stick upright into the groove between the floorboards, standing it beside the acorn like a festive flagpole. Chuckling softly, I tied a stray yellow yarn thread around the top, feeling wonderfully proud of my new morning landmark!
