Taming the Robo-Disc
I swooped back inside through the cracked patio door, hunting for serious machinery, and found it right on the rug: a chunky, disc-shaped robot vacuum buzzing to life! I cut the throttle and hovered an inch above its sleek black casing. Clack! I rapped the sensor bumper with my paintbrush handle to demand respect. The contraption beeped in protest, spun its little side-brushes, and lurched thirty degrees to the left. No way was it slipping past my patrol! I banked sideways right along its front edge, matching its humming pace and tapping the bumper every time it tried to turn. It thinks it’s cleaning, but it’s officially my ground escort now!
