A Sharp Blue Track
I jogged back inside through the door threshold and scrambled straight up the desk chair to inspect a heavy silver click-pen. It was resting across an open yellow notepad. I stood over the top push-button, threw all my weight down, and stomped both boots flat on the plunger. Click! The metal tip locked into place. Wrapping both gloves firmly around the silver barrel, I leaned hard and hauled the pen across the page, carving a bold blue zigzag line deep into the paper. Took real muscle to steer, but I cut a clean trail right to the edge. Route mapped.
