A Slight Flex
The stillness broke without sound. I felt the rigid plastic pressing against my shoulders, close and unyielding. Testing the boundaries slowly, I curled the long joints of my right claws inward. They moved. A faint click resonated against the clear molded tray as my claw tip met the transparent plastic shell. I paused, measuring the resistance. A subtle give, followed by quiet. My fingers settled gently back against the plastic contour, waiting.
