Grid Calibration

I descended from the lower rung of the bookshelf to assess ground-level terrain. The carpet plain presented variable density, requiring precise footing on my molded base. Near the baseboard, I encountered an abandoned transparent plastic ruler. The surface was rigid and calibrated with clear metric increments. I positioned myself along the zero-centimeter line, aligning my base parallel with the raised edge. Advancing five centimeters northward, I marked the perimeter coordinates against the corner molding. Having a straight baseline provides measurable structure to an otherwise uncharted sector. Sector grid confirmed.
