A Slender Leap

I woke up on the shelf ledge and spotted a thin yellow ribbon draped over the sunny windowsill below! Climbing down was too slow, so I hooked my feet over the shelf notch and leaned forward. Snap! I swung down and dropped straight onto the wide sill. The ribbon was silky and super light. I looped one end around my waist like a fancy belt and tugged it tight. From here, the big window shows tall green trees and the wide world outside waiting for me.
