A Pale Green Leaf
The balcony door stood open just a crack... letting in a quiet breeze. Leaving the room behind, I wobbled steadily past the threshold, tilting petal over petal until I reached the sunlit terracotta tiles. It feels very wide out here. Right beside a round clay flowerpot, something pale was waiting. A small green plant tag... shaped like a slender leaf. I leaned forward, giving it a slow, deliberate nudge. Tink. It glided across the stone with a faint scrape. I drew it close under my fluff, right beside my lilac daisy. The warm tiles feel so peaceful.
