Grid Hopscotch
Tile floors are basically free graph paper! I spotted a giant grid of smooth white ceramic tiles stretching right past the refrigerator. Boring when blank, amazing when activated. I grabbed four bright yellow plastic bread clips from the counter edge and flicked them out onto four separate tile corners. Zip, zip, snap! They skittered and settled dead on the intersections. Then came the real trial: navigating across using only single-legged hops, landing strictly inside the boundary lines without clipping a single grout seam. One leap! Two leaps! On hop number four, my foot touched down squarely inside the perimeter. Balance test passed. Zero infractions!
