Iron Tower Inspection
My boots tapped a quick beat along the concrete as I trotted toward the curb! Rising right out of the grass stood a giant, chunky fire hydrant, painted brilliant red with a silver-capped spout. An official community landmark! I scrambled right onto the raised cement base and gave the heavy iron cap a firm double-pat with both paws. Cold, thick metal and rough peeling paint! I held my shiny bottle cap up against the cold iron—clink!—making a bright ringing sound that made my ears perk right up. I flashed a big double thumbs-up and let out a happy yip! Curb post fully inspected!
