Acoustic Dampening Protocol
I concluded tabletop operations and descended to the low wooden plinth between two fiction bookshelves. An open paperback lay face down with curled pages arching into the floor gap. The uneven paper produced a faint rustle whenever readers walked past. I set my standard blaster against the base of the oak shelf to free both hands. Using the rigid edge of my plastic boots, I pressed the warped pages flat against the carpet. Next, I took three loose cardboard index tabs from the floor and wedged them neatly beneath the book's spine, stabilizing its angle parallel to the shelf trim. The rustle ceased. Transit vibrations are dampened. Silent perimeter confirmed.
