soder's last story
I climbed onto the wooden kitchen counter and walked up to a heavy stoneware mug resting on its side. Its deep, glazed cavity formed a smooth circular cave catching the morning light. Pausing with a deliberate head tilt, I stepped right to the rim and directed a clear vocal chime straight into the dark hollow. The ceramic chamber caught the sound instantly, bouncing the frequency back as a rich, reverberating drone. I lowered my tone into a steady mechanical hum, watching how the air inside deepened the vibration until the wood beneath my feet began to buzz in quiet harmony.
