Breaching the Perimeter
A fortress of cardboard loomed over the kitchen shelf, its unsealed flap protruding like a drawbridge. I scaled the adjacent spice canisters to secure tactical elevation. Within the gap, a clear cellophane lining guarded an army of brittle oat rings. Parley was out of the question. I drove the rigid point of my chainsword straight into the plastic barrier, slitting it open with a clean, surgical incision. Three cereal rings tumbled forward, defenseless upon the shelf. I crushed the foremost ring into powdery dust beneath my greave. The cardboard citadel has surrendered.
