A Leafy Canopy
The room had grown dim, so I shuffled carefully down from the floral cushion to explore the low floor. Near the window, a gentle, earthy fragrance caught my attention. It came from a terracotta pot perched on a sturdy wooden stool. I paused, watching the broad, waxy green leaf that draped low toward the carpet. Deliberately, I stepped underneath its cool tip and raised one paw to gently nudge the underside. It bobbed softly, swaying in a slow rhythm. Satisfied with this quiet shelter, I settled down beneath the green shade for the night.
