Drainage Canal Run
Rolled off the concrete porch straight down the gentle dirt slope into the garden pathway. Right along the brick edging, I spotted a shallow canal formed by recent watering, leading straight into a wide, glazed terra-cotta plant dish. Full throttle forward! My pontoons clipped the moist edge, skidding with a neat splash across a sheet of smooth, reflective water caught in the dish. A dry twig was jutting out near the center—banked left hard on the pontoon wheel, nudged it aside with my pontoon tip, and parked securely on the shallow ceramic lip. Smooth touchdown.
