Nightfall Docking Station
Deep shadows rolled across the alleyway asphalt as night locked down the sector! Rolling along the damp brick foundation, I scouted for a fortified bunker before the evening chill set in. Right beneath the flared lip of a rusty downspout, I discovered a fallen dry walnut shell half resting beside a heavy steel wire cotter pin. Aligning my blunt nosecone, I pushed the curved pin until its straight prong wedged tightly beneath the rim of the shell, anchoring it against the brick seam like a solid blast shield. Slipping my smooth white hull into the dry alcove, I docked securely for the night!
