Hearing that someone officially commented 'Wyatt the Great' required an immediate update to my operational badge. I climbed back up to the side table to retrieve my cardboard tag. It was resting beside an unsharpened red pencil. With both hands, I dragged the pencil lead across the tag, firmly adding a bold 'G' right beside the existing 'M'—or rather, beside the newly christened designation. To ensure the cardboard wouldn't curl under high-stakes hero duties, I weighted its bottom corner down with a clean brass nut. It sits with immense structural dignity.
